Gold coffee is a new kind of coffee that falls between a light roast and a white coffee.
We roast our beans at lower temperatures to create a smooth coffee, golden in color, to naturally perk up your day. This new coffee is 5x less acidic than regular coffee and has a smooth taste with zero bitterness. From early tests, we've heard time and again that it drinks like tea -- no bitterness, only smooth sips.

We are roasted much less than a dark roast, which normally is the "most burned."
The result: a smooth coffee, golden in color, that's 5x less acidic than regular coffee with zero bitterness.
On average, Golden Ratio coffees have 50% more caffeine than regular coffee on a per gram basis.
That said, it all comes down to how you brew. If you want a lighter brew, steep for less time. Stronger? Brew longer!

Given our gold coffee has zero bitterness and is less acidic, we've heard from early testers that this coffee is as gentle as a tea. In terms of flavor, we commonly hear our coffee is "nutty," "chocolatey," and "smooth."

Whether you brew hot or cold, all you need is Golden Ratio gold coffee pouches, water and a mug. If making hot, you'll either need your tea kettle or microwave to heat up the water. Other than that, nothing else is needed!
Golden Ratio gold coffee has a shelf life of 12 months, though we recommend consuming sooner for ultimate freshness.
You can store Golden Ratio coffee pouches wherever you keep your coffee!
Once you brew -- or as we like to say, "turn water into gold" -- we recommend keeping refrigerated and sipping within 72 hours. Dispose after 7 days.
Use one Golden Ratio coffee pouch per 8oz serving. For multiple servings, follow the ratio of 1:1 (one pouch per serving).
While Golden Ratio coffee pouches get the "most bang" on first use, we've heard from some early testers that they reuse the pouch for a second cup. It's up to you!
While coffee is generally safe during pregnancy, please consult with your doctor to ensure Golden Ratio is a good choice for you!

All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.

Shipping and processing delays may occur during high volume seasons.
We offer $5 standard shipping via USPS within the United States on orders under $25.
Orders over $25 will receive free standard shipping.

Golden Ratio is perishable so we're unable to accept returns of our gold coffee. But don't worry— we're here to help! If there was an error with your order, please contact us within 30 days of your purchase. If you were dissatisfied with your coffee, our expert Customer Support team will help you track down your soon-to-be favorites.

All orders will be processed to ship within 7-10 business days. All one-time orders of $25 and above within the US will receive free shipping. Subscribers will also receive free shipping, along with a 10% discount on product.

We get our coffee beans from our roasters who ethically source coffee beans from Nicaragua, Brazil, and Ethiopia.
Golden Ratio uses three single origin coffees within our gold coffee. The beans come from Nicaragua, Brazil and Ethiopia.
Golden Ratio Vanilla Coconut Flavored gold coffee is blended with natural vanilla and toasted coconut flavors for a subtly sweetened, smooth sip. It's like a day at the beach, minus the sand in your toes.
Golden Ratio Vanilla Coconut Flavored gold coffee is made with coffee, monk fruit extract, erythritol, toasted coconut flavors, other natural flavors, and gum acacia.
After recent recipe modifications, our Vanilla Coconut Flavored gold coffee no longer contains toasted coconut flakes, which are a common allergen.
When we tested, we found that vanilla beans overpowered the flavor of the gold brew. Instead, Golden Ratio uses natural vanilla flavor to deliver a balanced flavor with our gold coffee base and coconut flavoring.

Golden Ratio nitro-flushes and heat seals each bag to ensure freshness for up to 12 months.
We buy the highest quality of coffee, ingredients,and spices that is properly sealed for food safety until it is processed at our facility. After mixing all the ingredients and finalizing each product, each gold coffee batch and its packaging are are individually tested. Final product is then nitro-flushed and heat sealed to ensure freshness and shelf-life.

Yes, Golden Ratio gold coffees do not contain any gluten products. Our manufacturer also runs strict line tests and does not produce any products onsite that could be cross contaminated with gluten.
We are not certified gluten free at the moment, though all of our ingredients are gluten free and our manufacturers process zero gluten onsite. We are looking into certifications in the future.

Golden Ratio gold coffees were tested side by side in a lab against black coffee. All variables were kept consistent -- water type, brewing method, etc. -- and all tests found our coffee to be at least 5x less acidic. We also conducted this test with multiple coffee brands to ensure consistency of results.
